How the trial works

Every feature is unlocked for two weeks from the first time you open FloTop: no account, no card. FloTop reminds you three days before the trial ends, and again on its last day.

After that, FloTop keeps working as the free version until you buy it. Anything past the free version’s limits is greyed out, never deleted, and comes back the moment you unlock FloTop.

After you buy, your license key arrives by email. Enter it in FloTop’s Unlock FloTop window, or in Settings › General, and everything is unlocked.

Setting up

The first time FloTop opens, it asks for Accessibility access in System Settings › Privacy & Security. FloTop needs it to see your windows and bring them forward. Some features ask for more only when you first use them:

Screen Recording, for window previews when you hover over a tab (optional).
Automation, for layouts to open browser tabs and for Finder’s selection.
Calendars and Reminders, for their widgets.
